Flynn Downes - Day in the life of 07:39 - Mar 8 with 1904 views | MillsTash | Anyone else seen the "day in the life of Flynn Downes" on Swansea Instagram account? Worth a watch. Nothing major ITFC related, however their training ground looks light years ahead of ours. No wonder the last few manager have always talked about updating our museum like facilities. I guess the Premier League money has helped developed it, but you can see why a player would move there.
Flynn Downes - Day in the life of on 08:03 - Mar 8 with 1759 views | MattinLondon | If we do sneak into the playoffs, and if we win them, then I can see us moving ahead of Swansea quickly. Proves how fast football can move, as when he moved there, we were going nowhere quite quickly. Edit. A lot of ‘ifs’ in this but still realistic. [Post edited 8 Mar 2022 8:04]

Flynn Downes - Day in the life of on 08:09 - Mar 8 with 1710 views | hype313 | Very nice facilities, I do maintain that we have all the ingredients to make ours top notch, but it needs some love after years of no investment. I think given the talks by the hierarchy they are only too aware the need for first class facilities, no doubt investment will be made.

Flynn Downes - Day in the life of on 08:10 - Mar 8 with 1707 views | Churchman | I guess PL money did help, but there was no excuse for allow the training facilities to run down like they have. Symptomatic of the whole club, sadly. Years and years of total neglect.

Ahem - Swansea have made a few good management decisions in recent years and been asset-stripped of all of them and their best players. To get ahead of Swansea Town have to be promoted twice and make at least two very good managerial appointments after losing McKenna - all whilst consistently losing their best players. I admire your confidence, if not your grip on reality.

You think Gamechanger have the same outlook and drive as yourself ? I think not ….

Flynn Downes - Day in the life of on 09:05 - Mar 8 with 1472 views | Swansea_Blue | Yeah, they used the PL money to develop new facilities for the academy and the first team on different sites. Last I heard though they were looking to offload the academy site as they've downgraded their status and couldn't afford to keep it running. Before that, they trained and changed in at sports centre on the edge of town open to anyone. Even when they started in the PL. So they've certainly shot passed us in terms of facilities while we stagnated under ME.

Thankfully, the owners do not seem to be interested in being edgy as what that Elephant chap does. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It's a tricky one - the level of obsessive posting on here would suggest Norwich but the sheer bitterness is pure Colchester.

It's almost as if 98.75% of quotes from pressers are bland cliches that are overanalysed to the point of death by the terminally bored. [Post edited 8 Mar 2022 10:22]

Same here. Swansea has a sniff of us under Evans about them these days. The money's run out, the owners are pretty vacant and silent and have struggled since taking over, the new Chairman doesn't seem able to get things moving (they had a terrible summer). Meanwhile we now seem to have what Swansea had around the time they were building 12 or so years ago. Early days under Gamechanger, but we seem to be getting the main appointments right and putting a structure in place. Their judge of McK so far seems spot on too.

No-one can match your obsession about Lambert though. It's not healthy. He left a while ago and you need a psychiatrist.
