I think we’re going to need five wins and a draw too. Asking a lot to do that although all, with the possible exception of Rotherham, are very winnable.
Draw that and probably one other. Be nice to win the first two ahead of Easter and then see what happens.
We probably need 5 wins and a draw, and as ever, every game we play in this division we should go in to looking to win it. You’d like to think Cambridge and Shrews will be wins, so that’ll set us up for a big four games to finish.
No matter what though, the side under McK are a joy to watch and if this season doesn’t end the way we want, next season is going to be something special.

Yep, agree with the general wisdom that it's got to be 5 wins and a draw now unless something truly daft happens with a couple of Wednesday, Wycombe, Sunderland, Oxford.
First 2 and last 2 got to be bankers for 3 points (can see Shrewsbury being very awkward and could be like the Gillingham home game where we'll need a bit of quality out of the blue) then it's how we deal with the Easter weekend. Rotherham stuttering a bit but very strong still for this level and the Wigan game on the Tuesday night could have a massive sense of anticipation if we get there in realistic reach of 6th which, unlike previous iterations of this team, might well benefit us.
Don't want to lose slip of the dream of a magic run but like you feel we'll drop points in one of the superficially simpler games.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.
We'll need 5 wins, no doubt of that - we are capable of it but this is Ipswich
Wes Hoolahan to pull something ludicrous out tomorrow, Shrewsbury to get their revenge for Hurst, Crewe to repeat the late 90s, Scott Fraser for Charlton.
I'm just unable to see past all these potential traps!
Think it'll be something like 13 points and we'll fall short

Think Shrews away is the big potential banana skin.
I can see us beating Wigan but not sure about Rotherham. Pretty sure Warne has something over us.
We need to win all six and we'll still probably miss out but at least it would be a good way to end the season, to set up for next year.
To my eye we're now better than the Rotherham team that beat us at PR. They're not exactly looking imperious either.
I think we'll dominate that game, just like we have the rest of our last 10. I keep expecting a team to show up and have the better of things against us, but Oxford, Portsmouth, Plymouth looked no closer to us in quality than Lincoln, Fleetwood, Morecambe did. Doesn't mean we'll beat them, but it's still a game we're perfectly capable of winning imo.

I think the last game when we weren't better than the opposition for large parts of the game was Sheffield Wednesday at the end of January. MK looked better for 10 minutes until we tweaked things.
My Rotherham supporting mate is still concerned about them messing this up, they're not as good as before Christmas now, but surely they have enough points.
I would say Cambridge, Crewe and Charlton you would like to think are W's. Shrewsbury, Rotherham & Wigan are tough games, the Shrews are in excellent form and not shipping many goals, and the others are the current top 2, so it's a big ask to take 9/9 from those.
But it's 1 at a time, focus has to be picking up 3 points tomorrow which would make Shrewsbury massive, and so on.

They're only 4 points ahead of MK, so I don't think it's impossible. Not playing in the league this weekend, so it might be 1 point by 5pm tomorrow. Lot of pressure if you aren't playing well...
Could do with MK Dons and Rotherham keeping each other honest, they're both playing Oxford, Rotherham have Sunderland, MK Sheffield Wednesday too.

Can't see that we'll miss out with 82 points. That'd require Oxford AND Wednesday to post 2 ppg for the rest of their season. The majority of Oxford's game are against Top 8 teams, so I can't see it.
