Not so sure. They’re dragging SW into scratching around and look a little toothless up front. Guaranteed to score now, of course

I want Wednesday to win but have seen no real threat from them so far. Sunderland as likely to score and they aren't even trying to!

Are we all supporting Wednesday tonight? on 20:19 - May 9 with 1721 views | ArnieM | I actually think Weds would be more problematic for us next season . I know SUFC currently winning , but I really don’t rate them …. Would rather have Sunderland in league one next season, than SWFC

Unfortunately that’s what it takes to get of this division when the chips are down . Town certainly don’t have that in their locker ….. Wycombe, do !

Are we all supporting Wednesday tonight? on 20:28 - May 9 with 1675 views | ITFC_Forever | No, Sunderland all the way. Weds apparently have major financial issues if they don’t go up, so Sunderland will be the bigger threat to us next session. Plus the away end is 450 miles away. 225 miles to Sunderland and then 225 miles up in the sky.

The travelling is a fair argument. However, the idea that Sunderland will be a bigger threat begs the question why they haven't been good enough to get promoted in any of the last 3 seasons. We need to worry about finishing ahead of teams better than Sunderland.

Would be nice to see a few of those especially for whichever of them loses.

Are we all supporting Wednesday tonight? on 20:53 - May 9 with 1512 views | strikalite | Sunderland for me. they're served their time in this League now and for us it'll probably be a good thing, though let's be honest there really is very little in the two sides...

Are we all supporting Wednesday tonight? on 20:57 - May 9 with 1489 views | JDB23 | Haven’t been watching too long and not sure if it just isn’t coming through the TV, but for a playoff semi with a big crowd, the atmosphere seems awful. Not bothered either way about the winner, both decent clubs who shouldn’t be in this league.

Are we all supporting Wednesday tonight? on 21:24 - May 9 with 1392 views | monkeymagic | Sunderland for me. Arsenal were mostly to blame for not turning up at Oxford on the final day but Wednesday beat us 1-0 at Hillsborough with a late ish (Brian Marwood?) winner in our last game. Without that, we might not have gone down in ‘86 and it’s too soon to forgive and forget.

I love this sort of argument. I once had some Sunderland fan on a train steal my Ipswich scarf when I was a kid. It may have been around 40 years ago but that did create a negative impression. I did forgive the club for this while Bent and Bramble played for them and did like them for a while but then came Keane and I don't like them.
