It's the sequel.

The first was bad enough but apparently there's another attempt needed to scrape back some of the box office losses.

By the time the 5th comes out and the script is finally understood as being as simplistic as 'Rocky wins' maybe someone will try something a bit more creative.

Maybe it's because nobody can afford to put their cooker on that the Oven Ready Deal is now obsolete so we're having a raw deal.

The pigeons around here think I'm kind putting out food but of course that's not what's happening at all.

I'm just hedging my bets.

Even with the Brexit Johnson has brought us Farage's take is that it isn't "hard" enough. It is about time that anyone more moderate than Farage, the BNP and the most extreme end of UKIP, admit that it hasn't worked and the electorate were sold a lie.

Don't let Farage continue to dupe them. He needs taking down with Johnson really.

You certainly have to hand it to old fartage, he certainly knows how to rake in the cash.

Others might think he is flogging a dead horse but I'm sure he will come up with some idiotic guff that will have the not too bright sending in their £25 subs to be a member of his latest 'party'.

£500 to be a candidate, and £5000 to go on an exclusive package holiday taken in a cruise down the Rhine, a speech by fartrage in a Munich bierkeller, and a visit to Rudolf Hess's grave.

the new slogan - old folk, far right and fartrage

As there are protections and laws for workers 16 and over then it follows that Brexit2 will involve the lowering of the working age to 10. No need to amend the bill that protects workers 16 and over.
These youngsters can be exploited as you wish.
Enterprising Tories will use them in sweat shops.
The Rees-Mogg Tories will have them cleaning chimneys and shining shoes.
The Pincher Tories will put them in the sex trade.
...and before you accuse me of being silly just think - they're Tories, so you know they want to do it.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Of course with fartrage now vampire like once again risen from the grave and seeking another money source it will mean either the bigots have to lurch to the right to accommodate the nonsense he is peddling to the habitually thick, or try to win back those lost to the Libdems, but see votes then going to the swivel eyed.

It maybe that the Tory Party will implode.

Johnson can flee the country to the safety of Russia, claiming the 'woke' liberal, metropolitan elite (sneering type) blocked his intent of delivering a low tax, high wage, longer life, jobs for all economy

The ERG like the vampire fartrage has had the taste of blood and nothing less than a return to Victorian work practices will be acceptable.

It should be a fun summer for the rest of us

Are Nige is the king of moving the goalposts. First he was on question time every week saying "Why can't we be like Norway?" Then it was all about leaving the Single Market and Customs Union, then it was WTO rules. If the Tories actually did a no-deal, he'd have put #FBPE in his Twitter bio.

Charlatan.

Dunno if you saw it but matey from the Torygraph starting banging on about the Norway type model on QT the other night.

They've had all this time and suddenly it's being spoken about as though it's something new and their flipping idea.

Six years to look at and implement something like that and because they've run out of ideas it crops up again.

And because of supposed impartiality the BBC was obliged to have some pro Brexiteer on - which meant only fartrage, as the others were an embarrassment.

To not offended this lying shyte hawk nobody ever challenged his lies - unlike the finger waving Angela Jenkyns who was spouting shte about a no deal and how the UK could trade under WTO rules. When asked if she could name any other country that trades under WTO rules .... she couldn't.

Possible because no other country does.

Fartrage would spout about Norway but was never asked how he equated Norways freedom of movement with his anti immigrant guff.

Farage is just a worn out no mark making a noise. It’s peculiar how nothing people like him attract attention. It was obvious what he was years ago.

"Starting now, the Tories must make it clear that the UK will become self-sufficient in energy as soon as possible. They need to agree to overhaul various institutions including the House of Lords, which should be scrapped in its current form. There must be at least an element of proportionality in our voting. And the biggest change of all is that Britain must leave the European Court of Human Rights and genuinely take back control of its borders."

By energy self sufficiency, he means fossil fuels.

What's interesting about this is that basically all of it has nothing to do with Brexit.

I'm up for proportional voting though so I me and old Nige agree on something it seems.

Think a majority of the electorate would in favour of some form of proportionality in the electoral system.

Personally my only objection would be a system that removed the direct link between a cross on a ballot paper and the person elected. No way do we want lists used exclusively as we all know who will appear towards the top of each Party’s list …..the same dross as we have now.

Either the System used in Scotland, a combination of first past the post and lists, or the European election would be OK but nothing is perfect.

Abolish House of Lords and replace it with an elected second house with no more than 250 members but limit their power to disrupt, or block legislation.

Would also limit the numbers in HoC to no more than 500 and give serious consideration to a new parliamentary building not necessarily in London but within 75 miles of the capital.

Not going to happen though, nor are we likely to see a revamp of the tax system. Combine Income tax and aNational Insurance and set the tax threshold at a basic minimum wage with a gradually incremented tax rate and basic state pension tax free.

I don't think any of that is getting done so vote for whoever at this point! Maybe the Greens are up for PR.

I'm not personally fussed about local representation but I know a lot of people are. That said as you say, the one used in Scotland and other parts of the UK (single transferrable vote) offers pretty good proportionality and keeps the local representation. Probably be my preference on the balance of things.

I'm not too fussed about the House of Lords, could definitely do with a trim down but honestly they have so little power anyway other than being able to delay things a bit. Guess it's nice that they try and keep some of the nuttier populist things at bay but it's only temporary relief a lot of the time

I have no economic background to even begin to think I'd be able to recommend a form of tax reform! I'll leave that up to experts.

That's because you don't understand the complex strategy-making the game involves.

Nor the difference taking a tactical approach to a seemingly simple box choosing exercise can make.

Or even apparently the power of using methods that employ the birthdays of family members, car number plates and the amount of spots the contestant's pet turtle at home has on its shell.

There's a lot going on that's not immediately obvious to the untrained eye.

That, or people like watching others potentially winning (or not) money by chance in the misguided opinion that one day "it could be them"!

Multi-member constituencies would be a good start. In Bury, Lancs, Tories and Labour are almost 50/50 but so often one wins both seats. In Suffolk, it would be quite possible to end up with a few Tories, at least one Labour, possibly a Green or LD too. That way, you can find a local MP sympathetic to your cause or issue...Voting choices change when all parties have a chance of being elected, so there would likely be a better balance in parliament...

A regionalised proportional representation? I like the idea in principle. It would also make boundary changes far less influential.
