It's the frustration for the manager.

From what I understand KMcK was keen to have him back. And now it looks like we've failed to make that happen.

And you wonder if KMck has been allowed to get the players he wants.

As long as he's happy, we should be happy.

But I'm not sure we've got a squad that will tear up this league yet. Top 6 would be a great result with what we have at the moment I think.

I don't have a source.

The KOA podcast end of last season said Celina wanted to stay and KMcK would like to have him.

So not a deep-throat 'source' just journalists whose day to day job is covering the club.

Yes, he has got four players he wanted already, which is a good amount.

A manager won’t get every player he wants, especially when more money starts getting involved.

We will have other targets, there’s nothing to worry about.

Your reading me in a very nuanced way if you think that's a weird way to word that statement.

Let's break it down shall we?

'From what I understand' indicates this is not a known and accepted fact, it's an understanding. This is based on something I have heard, read or watched. It's something I heard on a KOA podcast. If they had said 'KMcK has issued a statement saying he wants Celina back at the club', I would have worded it as a fact. But it was worded on the podcast like it was what the journo (I can't remember which one) had heard, presumably from THEIR source at the club.

It isn't weird at all.

KM will however have more targets and understand we aren't utd and have a bottomless pit of money.

I do think if he was madly desperate for celina it would be done and dusted. However I don't personally think it's a desperation but more of a ' I'd be happy to have him back' as one of a few other targets.

If dijon or Celina himself are asking for more money, it has to fit with what our other transfer plans are.

I'm pretty sure I've heard someone on KOA say Celina wasn't 'necessarily' a top target. Might be wrong though. Most other noises seem to indicate otherwise.
