I reckon it's a Labrador myself. You can make one look like a seal by putting it in a wetsuit and rubbing vaseline on it and fashioning a fin-shaped tail thing out of a box of weetabix painted black. If you can do that, you can make one look like a cat. And it's not as if they've got much else to do up there.

Does it have to be Weetabix, or will own brand do?

Claims that the nativity actually took place in Norwich have been refuted on the grounds there was no way they would be able to find 3 wise men and a virgin

How long did it take to make this Labrador/Seal hybrid? And why?

Probably because he'd finished his weetabix, and needed to do something with the empty box. Seems the logical reason to me!

What else would you do with an empty weetabix box, a wetsuit, a labrador and a jar of vaseline?

The first picture looks that way, especially comparing it to the standing crop further away. I have fairly good reason to believe they have been around these parts 20 years ago but this one does look like a large domestic cat.
