Whilst context and tone are everything, it is fair to say that any religion that supports anti-blasphemy laws can not be seen as a thorough-going upholder of the right to free speech.
"Any religion" is the key bit there, though, rather than always picking on the same one.
The stabbing of Salman Rushdie may provide some context, but to jump from that to "all muslims out" is a bit like Liam Neeson going out hunting for a Black man to beat up.
