Thought he conducted himself well today and performed a classic bit of Norwood sh1thousery! He could have done a half decent job for us this season.

Got booked for simulation and gave away a free kick in a dangerous area. Not exactly great conduct

I know lots of people around me were getting annoyed by his antics, but it made me chuckle. To be fair, quite a few of his colleagues were up to all sorts of tricks when it came to time-wasting.

Well he isn't doing a half decent job for Barnsley so far.

You what?

He came on, did nothing with the ball, then did a dive so obvious that even THAT ref saw it and booked him for it?

We are better off without him.

He managed a shot on target forcing a save which was more than Ladapo managed!

He was rubbish and acted like an idiot by diving on the edge of his own box and getting his team into trouble. Typical Norwood and typically poor.

The status he's held in by some fans is puzzling, I'm glad he's not "doing a job" for us this season.

It was more like a pass to Walton that he had to bend down to gather.

I was talking about his conduct, rather than his quality of play. I was expecting him to charge about, throwing himself into tackles and trying to wind up the likes of Morsey but I didn’t see any of that aside from the dive he conducted himself quite well.

When people feel prompted to comlpement someone on not behaving like a bellend, you have to ask what your standards were in the first place...

He was not rubbish. He made an error of judgement and was penalised. With yesterday's ref, it was arguably a gamble worth taking.
I don't think he's held in any status by fans except those like you who inexplicably hate an ex-player.
Get over it.
You don't have to hold these feelings any longer. He has left us.

I think you'll find I am far from the only person who isn't keen on Norwood and who is very happy he's no longer associated with our club.

I wasn't the one who started the thread, I have no interest in Norwood, I was simply replying to the ridiculous opening post.

Interesting that you think that diving is a gamble worth taking - will you be advocating that our current players should dive on the edge of our own box as well or are you just desperately looking for a feeble defence for the indefensible?

Your attack on me is bizarre given the context of the thread, a clear case of playing the man not the ball, much like Norwood a lot of the time actually.

An error of judgement: you mean cheating. Similarly if you chuck a brick through somebody’s window it’s not an error of judgement, it’s criminal damage.

I’ve never understood the cult status he had with some people. As a footballer, he is what he is - a decent lower league player. His record shows that.

But there were also things I was not a fan of and I’m glad he’s moved on.

Hahahaha hahaha

We only looked dangerous when Norwood came on for them. They were worse when he came on. Plus he did what Norwood does and tried to cheat. I mean who dives on the edge of their own box

I believe you already have the answer to that.

Drink-driving liar. I have zero time for him and am very pleased he doesn’t play for us anymore. I do hope his troubles are behind him though.
