Find it a struggle to justify myself, for such a competition. Feel like a fairweather fan but £12 for a ticket + the same again in fuel + parking etc. It's not going to break the bank but it's the best part of £30 I can probably put to better use at the moment. Tend not to do cup games unless we get a juicy FA Cup 4th / 5th round or something. Can but dream. |  |

If I was able to go this evening and lived more locally then I would. I’d much rather this one than the stupid Arsenal reserves match, even though I think I’ve seen us play Northampton twice before in the League Cup (2010/11 and 2011/12?).
Seeing Ball and Keogh make their debuts, plus what should be a pretty good line-up in general for this competition against a fourth-tier side means it should be a decent evening. I hope we do a League One title and FL Trophy double. |  |

Haha I mean that is more than likely too.
Redecorating a room, so I have the fun task of stripping wallpaper and years of paint off the walls (which I've started, they're properly sh1t underneath) and giving them a sand down etc before the pro comes over to skim them and do a few other bits in the room. Thankfully I have a steamer although it overheats after about 10 minutes so I have to do 10 on, 10 off while it cools down.
Thought I would rather do the unskilled time consuming bit myself and save the labour cost for the clever bit which he reckons he can do all in a day. Dread to think what the plastering would look like if I attempted that! | |
