Charlton line up 18:54 - Oct 26 with 3031 views | pointofblue | My preference rather than what I think McKenna will do… Walton - Woolfenden, Davis, Keogh, Edmundson - Morsy, Ball - Burns, Harness, Edwards - Ladapo Substitutes: Hladky, Burgess, Camara, Humphreys, Jackson, Chaplin, John-Jules Donacien seems to be burning out slightly and wonder if a switch at the back could also help us out defensively. Benching Humphreys was difficult but we need Morsy back and I think him and Humphreys are two attack minded players, so Ball is needed to do the dirty work. [Post edited 26 Oct 2022 19:26]

Other than Donacien for Keogh, I don't think it's an unlikely line up? [Post edited 26 Oct 2022 23:02]

I think three of the front four will change and we may see Keogh in for Woolfenden. Walton - Donacien, Davis, Keogh, Edmundson - Morsy, Ball - Burns, Harness, Jackson - John-Jules Substitutes: Hladky, Woolfenden, Humphreys, Camara, Edwards, Chaplin, Ladapo

Is it rotation or horses for courses?
Charlton line up on 08:12 - Oct 27 with 2293 views | BigCommon | I'd be tempted to stick with Ladapo up top to start He's on a high after his brace of goals, didn't play the full 90 on Tuesday. And Charlton will be missing one of their key centre backs, in Innis, through suspension. I also think, bringing on some pace and movement later in the game, against tired legs in the form of Jackson and JJ might be more effective on the counter, should we go ahead beforehand, and Charlton are forced to come at us.. Freddy didn't look great coming off the bench against Derby.. I think he's happier starting. I'd swap Edwards out for Harness, from Tuesdays selection. Think Harness offers a bit more in the middle of the park, in chasing and pressing. And, again, Edwards pace and directness off the bench could come in handy, either if we are playing on the counter by then, or if we are chasing a goal ourselves. Then Morsy in for Humphreys.. Ball stays in for me just for solidity and experience, in what will be a packed out away stadium. And I think Ball will play a lot better with Morsy alongside him.. Walton Davis, Edumndson, Wolfy, JD Morsy, Ball, Harness, Chaplin, Burns Ladapo Hladky, Keogh,Burgess, JJ, Humphreys, Edwards, Jackson. Don't think Camara makes the bench, unless someone picked up a knock. By the sounds of it, he's been on the bench ahead of time, as an emergency, due to squad injuries Probably get some minutes at Bracknell though. Imo. Just my punt on selection. I rarely get it right. Morsy back in the side will have us much more organised in front of our own box and down our left. He soon put Davis in check against Derby, after he'd been done a couple of times early on. And he's done the same with Harness on occasion We missed him on Tuesday. He keeps everyone on their toes.
Charlton line up on 08:54 - Oct 27 with 2233 views | gordon | If it were me I'd stick with Ladapo, Edwards and Humphreys - all should easily be fit enough to play Tuesday - Saturday, and when players are in form, playing with confidence, I really don't see the benefit to rotation. In particular the combination play between Davis, Humphreys and Edwards at times looked excellent, and they complemented each other really well. Would also bring in Morsy for Ball, didn't think Ball played that well on Tuesday.
Charlton line up on 11:08 - Oct 27 with 2136 views | Hipsterectomy | We didn't deal with them at all last season. Stockley being so good in the air makes me think we might go for Keogh. They have a lot of pacey players as well, something we don't usually face in this league, other than the odd star player. They were also very good at beating our offside traps. If you watch the highlights from last December, they get 5 or 6 great chances from our poor offside traps. Different team, coaching, manager plus we were a shambles at the time, mind.

I'm not sure you can drop a striker that's just scored 2 goals

I don't think there is any need to alter our system/shape. This group have a brilliant understanding of this hybrid 3-4-2-1 system that is being used, and it is constantly yielding results & performances.

If you’re the CM for charlton you certain think twice before ‘sticking one on humphrys’ early on with those two by his side as protection

We've been playing a flat back 4 all season.
