"Trust in politicians is at a very low ebb. Many people say that politicians are only in it for themselves.
Can each panel member give 5 examples of things that they have done in the past year, which can be verified and fact checked afterwards, that prove that they, personally, aren't?"
I fear that they couldn't, but if there are one or two who are able to speak passionately about actions that they take for the good of others, rather than just flannelling about some policy or other providing a 1% uplift in net positive outcomes for a basket of average constituents, then there may be grounds for outbreaks of hope and optimism in very dangerous times.

I know housing affordability is an issue close to your heart. And I think I am right in saying Suffolk has a rate of second home ownership second only to Cornwall (in England)
So I'd ask something around that - and the fact many local people can not afford homes in part due to second home owners who are in residence for barely a few weeks of the year...

Yes, this. A pressing issue of local relevance which points out the deep divisions in society which are a matter of deliberate.policy.

In a similar vein, 'Nicolai Tangen stated on another BBC programme (HARDtalk) that he is in favour of 100% inheritance tax (hedge fund manager Tangen manages Norway's Sovereign Wealth Fund), who on the panel would be in favour of this in the United Kingdom - so that each and every British person could look up the value of their share of this state's wealth ? For Norwegians that is around £600-700,000 each at the moment.'

Is it in Norway that all tax returns are a matter of public record? You can check what every single citizen earns / declares / pays in taxes.
That would be interesting - would expect a lot of push back from the wealthy / tax dodgers in society to that ever happening here.
But I have learned that the Norwegian for tax is 'skatt', any country where there is a possibility of Cab Calloway becoming Chancellor of the Exchequer must have something going for it...
If you're in the audience, can you ask them about how they propose saving Fantasy Football from the huge number of cheating sites like Fantasty football scout which basically just tell know-nothings how to play the game? Ta
Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

Seems they have a wealth tax too, which starts at 1.7m Krone, about £1.4m
Actually they have two sovereign wealth funds, the state pension one stands at U$1.19 trillion in assets (guess they don't need to worry about a triple lock.) Interestingly, France has one too - and its bigger at U$1.5 trillion, but it has been going for one hundred and seventy four years longer:
Considering the the cuts to public services, could the panel say by what % public funding for the monarchy should be (or for the Tory rep has been) cut considering we are all in this together?

Looking at that document I was surprised to seeing the Prime Minister only has a taxable wealth of US$600K. Given house prices are very expensive in Oslo I was wondering what classed as taxable wealth. Turns out primary and holiday homes are discounted in value by 75%.
Also, going back to ability of Norwegian to look up anyone's income and wealth, I believe that the name of anyone searching that information is flagged to the persons who's details are being sought.

Not going to happen on QT but this is the question I really want answering: “Why don’t we have more evidence-based politics?”
There is plenty of evidence and serious research re: underlying socio-economic issues and solutions. But our politics instead revolves around abstract, ideological, subjective or even imaginary narratives and non-solutions.
How is this a way to run a country? Is it any wonder we’ve ended up with worse and worse governments and a UK that’s splitting apart at the very seams that are meant to keep everything together?
