Their CEO implies that others might do the same.

The cynic in me thinks that UEFA encourage this will use this issue to grab more power from FIFA which will probably please a lot of the big clubs in Europe.

Possibly a new organisation - or nothing at all. Doesn't prevent them playing in UEFA tournaments or their own domestic League. Unlikely to even affect transfers.

Tho I suspect this is a threat to gain leverage, probably won't actually happen.

Could do though if they can persuade something like 50% of non-European countries to join in (albeit that's unlikely I guess); plus most of the European ones.

The 7 countries should have defied FIFA and worn the armbands. Fifa would have to back down or ruin the tournament and probably put the final nail on their own coffin.

Truly impaired.

Whilst not objecting to the idea, the time to do this really was around the Qatar vote. Or when the FBI investigated Fifa for racketeering.

Is defo possible, half dozen major European FAs, Brazil and Argentina and what's left?

But I don't see it happening sadly.

Some of the biggest football countries in the world - no idea why they didn’t force FIFA’s hand.

Germany have got it right. Acted as a team without prior announcement of what they were doing, and FIFA are not taking any action. Each country should now be following their example. A collective goal celebration with the same gesture would be good too.

Ecuador appear to be facing a charge for their fans chanting "we want beer" - a discriminatory chant apparently - if I have read the terribly written article I saw correctly.

R5l said the whole team put their hands in front of their mouths indicating they'd been silenced; and German govt. minister in stands was wearing a rainbow scarf round her arm - correct?

I know it was rigged so that he's running uncontested anyway, but a good start would be for UEFA members to abstain from voting for Infantino at the FIFA presidential elections next year.

This could/would become more realistic if Saudi Arabia (along with Egypt and Greece) get World Cup 2030. Money won't be a problem for Saudis to get this tournament.

In theory an AFC can't host it again until 2034 according to FIFA's own rules. But FIFA gonna FIFA. If you don't like a rule (or a rule stops you making money), just change it!

to be honest...FIFA needs a total overhaul. Both the current World Cup and the Russian bid were compromised over money for matches.
