I felt he was too good for us when he signed, being one of Barnsley's best players in their run for the Championship play offs.

I just saw he's only got a year left (unless we have an option). Surely we'd be doing all we can to get him signed? He seems to love it here and is only 26

his enthusiasm for the game is a joy to watch, so nice to see a player so obviously happy.

POTS so far, and it’s not even close.

I will be honest and I hadn't really seen anything much of him before he came. I was surprised we could sign someone who had featured so regularly at the level he had but when I saw him, I was concerned he would not have the physical presence necessary at this level.

Clearly been an excellent signing, though. A real eye for goal and great positional sense. We have been looking for a 20-goal-a-season striker and we have it from a number 10.

top top player isn't he. What I really like about him apart from one of the few players we have that is always looking to get a shot off, is that he never stands still, always looking for space and always on the move.

To top it off, he comes across as a lovely guy, really a joy to have him at Town, long may it continue.

Must be the highest scorer we have had other than an out and out striker since Warky??

Once I'd seen him in action in a game last season (I don't get to all games), I was sold, he's the best player we've had here in the last 10 years, maybe more. Touch, vision, pace, finisher, and a high quality guy in the dressing room and club. I'd not be unhappy at all if he was our highest paid player, him and Morsy probably competing for that title.

Indeed there’s only about 3 Championship clubs he could join where he wouldn’t be playing in front of less fans.

He’s been quality for the past few months. He’s getting the ball further forward where he can do damage. He’s an in and around the box player and is now being played as such. Broadhead has been fantastic for him too.

And his passing has improved loads. Really impressed me with how much he has evolved.

He plays and talks like an experienced player (I suppose he is) but he's still young.

Class act.

He's still basically a striker, just with great technical ability to boot, which means he's made to play deeper.
