Just watched the Town in 5 video v Derby on 08:50 - Apr 6 with 1204 views | NthQldITFC | Apologies for bringing up the old disallowed Derby goal debate again, but this video is really useful for seeing the foul on Burgess. Go to 3:16 and freeze frame (space bar) at the point where the ball is directly above the near post and Woolfy's head (use ',' and '.' keys to step frame-by-frame, or keypad arrows for bigger steps). At that point Burgess' head is half a head's width to the right of the fella in the crowd (A) just visible above the crossbar, and there's a gap of 1 head's width to the right of A to the Derby player jumping highest with Burgess. Step forward 6 frames and Burgess is now a head's gap to the left of A, whilst the other players are pretty much unmoved, i.e. Burgess has been shoved to the left by about 2.5 head's widths. If Burgess had not been shoved in the air, the ball would now be almost exactly on his forehead. Step backwards and forwards over those 6 farmes and it's pretty clear it was a foul which stopped Burgess clearing the ball in my opinion. From other angles you can see Burgess jumping vertically for the ball and the Derby ambush coming in, but this really shows the effect of the ambush.

There was definitely a clear shove on Burgess but the consensus now seems to be that they gave a foul on Walton by Didz, which is mad. So the outcome for me was right but the decision itself was wrong so I can understand why Derby feel aggrieved whilst also thinking they can't really complain that it was disallowed.

Can't be bothered with all that to be honest, but on a side note it's interesting/funny to see how quite a lot of the Derby fans are celebrating long after the goal's been ruled out. Chappers spots it and applauds the ref pretty instantly but the fans in the background are still celebrating AGES afterwards.

McGoldrick fouled him 2 corners on the trot! Why is it mad? You can't just lean into the goalkeeper and impede him, that is a foul.

It's mad because he didn't foul him on that corner, I'm not sure what you're struggling with here. I doubt he was blowing up for a foul from a previous corner.

He did foul him on that corner! I watched it with my own eyes, we could quite clearly see it.

No idea what you're seeing but there's no foul. Not sure many will agree with you on this one.

The ref was looking straight at the foul on Burgess. The player making the foul looks straight at the ref and neither celebrates the goal nor complains to the ref. Any foul by Didzy is as the corner is taken and I don't think the ref would have seen it. The linesman doesn't flag. Aside from this being in keeping with Derby's persistent fouling approach, Warne's outrageous claim that the linesman apologised in the tunnel at half time for getting it wrong and the fact we scored 2 good goals (and could easily have had more) so would have won all the same, this is just a narrative from Warne/fans to suggest the win was not deserved.

Just watched the Town in 5 video v Derby on 11:00 - Apr 6 with 855 views | Nthsuffolkblue | The celebrations at the end are great. I wonder how they compare with scenes at the end of Wednesday's match! Still a long way to go but we have momentum at this point (just as Wednesday and Barnsley did a few weeks ago).

Just watched the Town in 5 video v Derby on 11:34 - Apr 6 with 780 views | Mach_foreignBlue | 5 days since and videos like this or others never get boring. In my opinion it has been the best away day during the 4 years in League One. Everything was so beautiful on and off the pitch. To have seen both awesome goals, players celebrations with fans, away end getting wild. All of this for the depression and long pain of Evans era where ITFC was like wounded, agonal animal. Evans didn't care nor did the players and what a different world nowadays !
