It's a little thing, but just speaks volumes that the squad know that they have responsibilities, and they aren't molly coddled. And 2ndly, someone after Tuesday mentioned that portman road dressing rooms looked cramped. I've played sports in better changing rooms than those looked!

4thly, referee couldn't have had a better view of it. Bloody good job it wasn't critical.

5th - Morsy is a real leader. And yes, that was a penalty alright.
Town in 5 on 20:39 - Apr 23 with 1551 views | Swansea_Blue | Hmm, it’s only a pen if you’re in the ‘any contact’ camp imo. I’ve seen them given and seen them not. It wasn’t careless, reckless or dangerous. He didn’t impede Hirst (as he was already going down theatrically). I’d be feeling hard done by if it was awarded against us, but then I’d like fouls in the box to be judged the same as fouls outside the box. I can’t see that being given as a foul anywhere else on the pitch. You’ve got to try to win them though I suppose.

He touched it past him and he slid in and tripped him, appeared would have got to the Ball otherwise

I still think that would have been seen as soft anywhere else on the pitch. Ref may not have realised he was likely to reach it too. I’m not trying to talk us out of it, just that you can see why it wouldn’t have looked stonewall in real time.

I have refereed at that stadium so have been in the home and away changing rooms. Home is ok, away is cramped, the referee room is like a time warp to 1930.... Portman Road is tight but London Road is worse.

I think if that had happened outside the box, the referee would have given a foul. He tripped him. It should have been a penalty .

The referee awarded a corner, so he thought the defender got the ball, which the video shows very clearly was wrong.

I don't think he was likely to reach it, least not from the angle I initially saw it.
Town in 5 on 09:15 - Apr 24 with 690 views | Hipsterectomy | Was it Ainsworth who said that Ipswich coming to their place and taking over motivated them a bit more? We completely took over the stadium there: warm ups in the corridors, like 20 staff celebrating goals each time. Add to that how loud the Town fans were and that’s almost a home match
