Interesting but also meaningless.

Equally the bookies think it's significantly more likely we go up than Plymouth

I think he means our chances of getting promoted overall including the play offs would be higher.

These numbers are all complete b0llocks anyway. Everyone can see what is needed based on the league table. This is obviously projecting Wednesday's poor form forward and we can't allow ourselves to believe they will drop points.

We have a higher chance of winning the league than the current leaders who have 2 home games in a row.

Weird.

They aren't b0llocks though are they? They are models based on lots of things - it still actually ranks SW higher than Plymouth but the reality is they have to win both games plus hope Ipswich or Plymouth drop points in 2 of their last 3 games

IMO they are. Updated after each game, kind of like the league table. They are worthless IMO. We still have a big job to do. That isn't worth taking any notice of. We have to assume Sheff Wed get 6 points from 6. So we need 5. If that changes and we need less then great.

Not sure how 34 is higher than 64 but then my maths was never that great…

I feel like it's both to an extent. I agree they're a useful indicator of past performance but when it comes to projecting what is likely to happen I think it's unhelpful.

Looking at the bottom, I think MK are in far bigger trouble than that percentage suggests

I don't think people take them any more seriously than Guthram's table. They are just nice ways to get a measure of what might be needed. If it was 100% accurate there'd be no point in playing the games.

It isn't just an end of season predictor. The 'supercomputer' is ahead of you in the 1-24 competition which is done at the start of the season, and we respect your insights.

I see it as a bit of fun and another metric of potential success.
