Have seen here at times and the Guv on talking Town about us signing 2/3 of their players last night they were a absolute shambles Wednesday hardly ever score many goals let alone five. If we go to the likes of Leeds, Leicester, Southampton and Middlesbrough etc are these players going to get us over the line I believe we need to be aiming higher to achieve the clubs goals any thoughts. |  | | |  |

I think tactically Ferguson got it wrong as opposed to the players being at fault last night
Protecting a 4 goal lead in whatever league against a side not known for high scoring themselves, you would think it would be a relatively nervy but not an unachievable task. The players I'm guessing here, carried out their duties and played positionally as they were told so to blame the players you're alluding to is a little harsh.
They've shown all season they can ship goals as well as score , I personally just think Ferguson is a little empty upstairs at times to be fair
You mention 2/3 players we're looking at and again personally I only know of one (Taylor) and for me in the first game he was fantastic - second game not so much due to the above I'd suggest |  |

Over the last few months talking Town mentioned Taylor and Clark Harris . on here the young centre back can't remember his name right now was mentioned,
Think we may try for one of them going on speculation I don't watch Peterborough so I haven't any idea if any are good enough, | | | |

Clarke Harris isn't up to our level. League 1 or Championship. He might score some goals but i've never once been impressed by him when i've seen him play.
Edwards, they turned down 8 million for him last summer apparently. Nice footballing centre half, but not convinced on the defensive side of his game atm.
'The Guv' doesn't know much about football having heard him talk about it at times, the Taylor link is obviously genuine, but Clarke Harris has never seriously been linked with us post Bristol Rovers link a few years back. | | | |

I know what you mean mate.
Thing with TT is that when you've got 6 hours a week to fill, most of it will be utter tosh... It's the quality verses quantity argument, in terms of content..
For what its worth, imo, JCH isn't the type of forward we'd go for, he just isn't mobile enough. And when he isn't scoring, he offers very little else.As evident last night at SW..
POSH ' young CB, Ronnie Edwards, would be a great signing, but he's probably out of our limits, being as there's rumoured interest from teams much higher up the ladder, and McAnthony will be asking ludicrous money..
Jack Taylor, CM, is someone we've shown a lot of interest in, and rumoured to have made enquiries/probing bids for..So he'd probably be the most likely of any POSH players that we'd be seriously linked with again this Summer...
Having said all that, we are now a Championship Club, so maybe our transfer targets will change slightly, from what they were 6 months ago? |  | | |

Ha ha! I'd hope they saw more of him than just the game against us. To be fair to Ahadme, he'd started the season well and had looked good the half season before. Think he was very unlucky to pick up a major injury so soon after we signed him, it's made his signing look a poor one with hindsight but at the time it didn't look a bad bit of business. | |

Don't think there was even anything in the Bristol Rovers link as at that point we had no money and he went for quite a hefty fee. |  | | |
