As much as I like Darren Moore, Weds football is atrocious at times for 2023 16:58 - May 29 with 2419 viewsunstableblue

It’s 2023! this level of hit and hope and speculative longer ball really looks ineffective and poor on the eye.

Deep down I think Sheff Weds know this to

Still expect them to win this… as 10 men on a hot day at Wembley is tough

But Barnsley look so much closer to Town in terms of attractive and on the floor football

Indeed a wunder save has kept Weds in this

At least if Sheff Wed get promoted, we know their team of old codgers won’t be a threat next year.

It’s a good point.

Barnsley have a bit of money coming in as well (Guy was speaking on pitch before Oakwell Town game)… and this is a good manager, with some god young players

Sheff Weds are old, and frankly this football ain’t going to cut it in championship

Again expect the Owls to win… but they will tire as well as 10 men Barnsley

Agricultural football at times.
To be fair, we had to endure it for quite a few seasons.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Very limited coach... Absolutely got away with it today.

I'd be amazed if he is still their manager in 12 months time.

I'll be surprised if Barnsley don't win L1 next year.

They'll lose key players. Andersen the CB will almost certainly be sold to a club higher up the ladder. Keeper will go back to Luton and Connell may well be sold as well.

L1 will not be an easy division to get out of next season.

Lots can change between now and then but it looks a far weaker league this year. The strongest top three of all time are going up to be replaced by Wigan and their -8 points deduction and Reading who are the model of how not to run a football club. Blackpool will be okay but it's a big downgrade overall.

Barnsley and Bolton will surely fancy their chances.

Never easy but I don't think the standard will be what it was this year.

Why do you like Darren Moore if his teams play such poor football? It’s as industrial as Mick’s, and he got pellets for it.

A lot depends on them keeping Duff, imo.. Decent coach/manager..

As will Derby, Charlton, Peterborough and Portsmouth.

Will probably be Blackpool, Wycombe and Oxford.

It is always a tricky division to get promoted out of.

Barnsley and Derby top 2 imo. Bolton, Blackpool, Wycombe plus a dark horse for the play offs.

Disagree on Wycombe, think they could be an outside bet to go down. They’re losing players again this summer and so much of their success was built on the personality of Ainsworth.

Not a million miles away from Luton’s approach. Guess their fans would rather have promotion than sexy football.
