Basic sportsmanship. You dont appeal for that. You dont maintain the appeal. Umpire is unclipping the bowlers cap and treating the over as ended.

Daft by bairstow although a little unsporting but this is an ashes series after all so you do what you can do. If anything it shows they’re rattled but I still think this is a step too far even for stokes, too long a tail, if broad and Robinson can both hang around for long enough then maybe but I think stokes himself will come a cropper eventually

Very unsporting from them. They've really riled up Lords, including the members, which takes some doing. It's lit a fire under Stokes as well, knocked off the best part of 50 runs in no time at all. Shame our tail is so long or this might have been fun.
