As we've sold roughly 21k season tickets, do we think every match will be a sell-out next season?

Obviously the away teams won't always take their full 2k allocation, but will the 6k home match tickets be snapped up for every game?

I think just over 21k s/t sold.

Say 21,500 that leaves 8,173, take 2,500 for away fans (most will sell out) that leaves 5,673, can take a couple of hundred off that for segregation and ‘other’ though.

I reckon all games will sell out, excluding a couple of mid weekers maybe.

Agreed. Our average will be in the 29000s and maybe Ashton will get his wish at some point of selling 30,000 tickets.

If we start well, then people are going to find it hard to get into some matches.

How does he justify selling a further 500 STs, when we were told the cap was 21,000?

It’s closer to 22 with the corporate stuff. Don’t think they were tracking it to a number and exceeded the amount they’d put out there as the informal cap.

Will still be 5k ish available for any given home game which doesn’t feel miles away from the number of non-season ticket holders attending home games over the last 10 years or so on average does it (excluding last season)?

Does it matter?

I imagine those sales were still going through when the cap was hit.

I agree the away team won't always take the 2,100 away tickets (in most cases they will), but there will always be the segregation of a full away end. So the home tickets available on a match day will not be boosted by additional Cobbold areas, as per a few games last season.

We got 29,100 for Sheff Weds at home with the full away end configuration. So as you say 29,100 - 21,000 (season ticket holders) - 2,100 = 6,000 left for matchday sales.

That 6,000 will easily be sold, week in week out, midweek or not. Maybe not if we have a nightmare season - but I don't see that happening.

For example I have at least 5 mates asking for tickets for Stoke from our season ticket allocation of 4.

A great problem to have!

Think Ashton and the owners will really start looking seriously at PR expansion when its selling out every week.

Does anyone know what the matchday pricing is??

Will a season of 29k sell outs week in week out, plus matchday revenue, kit sales, and Town TV give enough revenue to balance the books with the CAPEX on the ground and on players, and the OPEX on player salaries???... alas I still think there's going to quite a gap

They cut it off when they knew they were already getting over the 21,000 mark with the applications they hadn't processed.

Depends, first load will sell out then I imagine opposition/performance carries weight. If we're 15th in March then there won't be any sell outs for the last few games.

Seeing as Gamechangers ultimate aim is for Town to be in the Prem it is almost inevitable that the ground will be expanded to between 35-40,000. For those that will hark back to the last developement that went Sam Fox up the situation was totally different. The backup of Gamechanger wasn't there. The building of a new Churchman's and North stands were built on one season of finishing fifth. The next season Town were relegated and Matteo Sereni and Finidi George were paid millions to pay up their contracts. I also believe and no disrespect to the legend that is George Burley we do have a management team that are a bit more savvy when it comes to managing finances and the buying and selling of players.
