Was thinking last night, Gareth Ainsworth has an advantage over 22 other managers in this league, he knows quite well how we play, and how McKenna likes to set up his teams, could end up being our toughest game yet, apparently he completely changed his system for their win at Cardiff Saturday after losing 4-0 on the opening day.
One good thing is they are playing mid-week (Wednesday) though whilst we have a whole week on the training pitch.

Think sitters is getting some unfair criticism on this thread for what is quite a good point.
Other managers might know how we play from doing standard research, but Ainsworth has experience dealing with it.
It will be interesting to see whether he sets QPR to deal with us, or will the pressure to play positive football for a doubting fan base be too much for him!? |  |

Was at the AFC Wimbledon v QPR friendly in pre-season; QPR definitely had some good players, but they just didn't seem to have a style of play that was working. Ainsworth has basically come out this week to say that after the 4-0 defeat, he's switched from trying to get the players to fit his way of playing, to finding a system that is going to get the best out of the players he has.
Played 2 big physical forwards against Cardiff in Dykes and Armstrong (young lad looks a bit raw, but a real handful - their fans are hoping he can become the next Les Ferdinand which would be quite something), so not something we've had to face too often. Both of them have a bit of pace too, and there are other decent players backing them up.
Don't think we should underestimate them (luckily we have a manager who won't allow that, and players who get that); first home game (in the league) this season, which always adds a bit to the home team (as it did with us on Saturday) | |
