So, QPR… 13:48 - Aug 14 with 4266 views | SitfcB | Was thinking last night, Gareth Ainsworth has an advantage over 22 other managers in this league, he knows quite well how we play, and how McKenna likes to set up his teams, could end up being our toughest game yet, apparently he completely changed his system for their win at Cardiff Saturday after losing 4-0 on the opening day. One good thing is they are playing mid-week (Wednesday) though whilst we have a whole week on the training pitch. Would love to smash them, don’t like Ainsworth, hope we take up all the space again! Dozzell played 90 minutes on Saturday so a good chance he plays. I hope some of our sad types don't choose to boo him.

Only if you counted him in the first place. Of the 24 managers in this division, 3 have played against McKenna before, and 1 is McKenna. Leaving 20 other managers

I counted Schumacher but then miscounted the number Forgot about Duff as well but he didn’t cause us any problems in April

Think Ipswich will have to much intensity for qpr 1st game this season we may have more of the ball on the other hand McKenna may let them have the ball and break on them
So, QPR… on 21:07 - Aug 14 with 2321 views | RKD | Think sitters is getting some unfair criticism on this thread for what is quite a good point. Other managers might know how we play from doing standard research, but Ainsworth has experience dealing with it. It will be interesting to see whether he sets QPR to deal with us, or will the pressure to play positive football for a doubting fan base be too much for him!?

Comments like this is just going to give Andre extra motivation He has got great vision and can easily assist a couple of goals I expect it will be a bit odd for him playing against his boyhood club and the team i hope he still supports Lets remember the Dozell family blood is blue and treat Andre acordingly

1 assist in 71 games - I will take my chances on that! Certainly don't disrespect him but Morsy/Luongo will make it the antithesis of the type of games he likes to play - physical, high energy.

Nah, I reckon they just ruck up and get a surprise. I bet the coach driver doesn’t even tell them where he’s taking them - a magical mystery tour!

So, QPR… on 10:44 - Aug 15 with 1548 views | BlueBoots | Was at the AFC Wimbledon v QPR friendly in pre-season; QPR definitely had some good players, but they just didn't seem to have a style of play that was working. Ainsworth has basically come out this week to say that after the 4-0 defeat, he's switched from trying to get the players to fit his way of playing, to finding a system that is going to get the best out of the players he has. Played 2 big physical forwards against Cardiff in Dykes and Armstrong (young lad looks a bit raw, but a real handful - their fans are hoping he can become the next Les Ferdinand which would be quite something), so not something we've had to face too often. Both of them have a bit of pace too, and there are other decent players backing them up. Don't think we should underestimate them (luckily we have a manager who won't allow that, and players who get that); first home game (in the league) this season, which always adds a bit to the home team (as it did with us on Saturday)
