Interesting to hear him talk about Sam Fields’ injury. That’s what you get when you try to clatter Harry Clarke.
It caught me out seeing the references to Clarke. I thought he was out for a while with his Achilles problem. Is there any particular reason he replaced Janoi so early? Was it to try and quieten Sinclair?

Sounds like a deluded manager who knows his job is on the line.
If he that’s excited about that performance then you have to wonder how bad they’ve been. I mean, they were okay today and probably should have got a draw, but they were pretty ordinary.
He is one weird fish. I imagine there are a small group of players who totally buy in to him and would truly bust a gut, and then the majority who are thinking WTAF?
No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
A little bit of talking his own side up but plenty of evidence that they’ll be effective at home this season. Whether being Wycombe in the second tier is enough for QPR and their fans I’m not sure.

The criticism post Watford was about a lack of effort, so there will probably be a degree of relief that that's been rectified.
Not sure I’ve heard the word ‘achieve’ so many times in five minutes since an assembly where Mr Watts was explaining how this red folder was going to be vital for my future career prospects.

I was taking from that that he definitely wants them to be fitter. They will be fit. They will get fitter. He promises, and knows they need to be fitter. It's exceptionally important that they become fitter. Fitness is very important.

Unfortunately, they're not fit.
It was obvious to anyone watching that their legs were going to go after about 60 mins, and that's exactly what happened.

I said if they get more of his players they would stay up. Think they will do it comfortably.

I just can't take him seriously. I know appearances shouldn't matter in most walks of life. But he's in a serious job, and dresses like a tramp. He just looks sloppy, imo. There must be players/staff that just think he's a joke. I would, if he was here.

I remember an opposition manager last year, after we dominated away from home - possession, corners, xg, everything and we lost 1-0 - saying the only stats that matter are goals scored and goals conceded…….
