So who’s the central midfield two for Hudds away? 17:02 - Sep 24 with 3316 viewsunstableblue

Losing Morsy a big blow.

A) Is it Evans deep and Luongo forward?
B) Is it Luongo deep and Taylor forward?
C) Is it Ball deep (oooh err missus) and Luongo forward?
D) Is it Luongo deep and Humphreys forward?

Given some of Luongos tackling… I’m tempted by B and D!

Thoughts?

There's zero chance of Humphreys leap frogging Taylor, Ball, and Evans. I think Taylor is most likely to come in, although wouldn't be surprised if it's Ball.

Our best tackler is Hutchinson and our most energetic player is Harness. Huddersfield won't know what's hit them.

B for me , Taylor has a goal or two in him and I think he will be desperate to prove himself to both manager and fans …… so it’s B for me .

Mostly likely Luongo and Taylor. Although Luongo and Ball might be a decent option away from home

Give Evans and Ball a half each in the Wolves game, and winner stays on for the Huddersfield game

Considering Taylor got the nod at Southampton I assume it'll be Luongo and Taylor. Though, as we're away, McKenna may plan it slightly safer and go with Evans instead.

Edit: Though, not those

Two róles to be filled - defensive midfield and captain, Evans has been handed the latter one for League Cup games but is he up to the defensive side of the game. How about Ball to partner Luongo and give the captain's armband to Woolfendon as a bit of training for the future ?

Definitely B.

It must be difficult enough to bench a player who cost 1.5 million recently and keep him happy. And Taylor will be desperate to be given the opportunity to start and show what he can do. Wouldn't bet against him scoring.

I assume it'll be Taylor and Luongo, almost certainly.

Option B to the OP.

In the case of captain I’d go Woolf or Chappers.

Guess we wait to see if anyone is limping after Tuesday.
Mass/Taylor, or Mass/Ball.... With Morsy and Evans starting on Tuesday?

Evans will captain the side.... on 21:27 - Sep 24 with 2272 viewsBloots

....his partner depends on who's fit to play in defence.

Ball will get a start somewhere I expect.
