It was unlikely that a player is going to join today and start tomorrow, regardless of any deadline.
We've got a lot of attacking options, not least Chaplin, Broadhead, Burns, Sarmiento and Hutchinson. There's a very evident George Hirst shaped hole in terms of a natural and obvious #9 who can operate as the focal point, but I still think we've got enough about us to cause problems tomorrow night. Any chance, if we don't sign someone, that people get behind the players selected seeing as we are second, and very good at home, rather than moaning and booing because they are sulking over the team selection.
