Not in a disparaging way towards our players, but they cared more about stopping us winning than getting three points themselves.

We've got bigger fish to fry.

Enjoy your battle for 6th scum..

But they got the three points.

And we played like wet farts in a derby.

Again.

No it didn't. Posts like this are pathetically tinpot and cringeworthy.

But why should it mean more to them than us? WHY??

That’s the problem with our mental approach to these derby games down the years. We lack the balls to take the fight to them. They win must tackles today whilst we pussy footed about with st the back as per usual.

How annoyed I feel right now I can’t even describe to you.

Probably not appropriate to criticize our mental approach to this season, in any context.

Ridiculous comment.
We’ve lost to them again.
It hurts, a lot. Don’t act like it doesn’t.

When was the last time we turned up in a derby match? People may say December but the result was better for them - we gifted them chances and they took them.

So we can only say they turned up if we win?

This is the type of tinpot nonsense that deserves to be mocked by Norwich fans.

They really didn't imo. They played their normal way. We stopped them as much as they stopped us.

A brief 5 min spell of players falling down resulting in a freekick goal.

This wanting it more. What did it give them?

We had 62% possession
They had 11 shots we had 10
They had 3 on target we had 3 on target
They had 4 corners we had 6

We didn't perform to our standard but we performed to theirs and almost got a draw.

a niche perspective

I don't completely agree with the sentiment but it did feel like one of those backs against the wall, defend for your lives type 1 - 0's that you put in against the top sides

It's the kind of performance we'd have put in under McCarthy against the better sides because we wouldn't have had the talent to play an end to end game with them

McKenna wants a 3 - 2, 4 - 3 open game where we score more than the opposition where as Norwich decided they'd stay compact and fairly rigid and look to pick us off

Obviously once they got their lead and had something to hold onto, we were going to give chances to them on the break which they continued to fluff really

We have to learn from this and formulate a plan for them because it isn't completely unlikely we are going to play them again

Frankly I'd far rather play them than Coventry who look like the team we really don't want gatecrashing the playoffs currently

What I would say is I desperately want automatic promotion to avoid the lottery of the playoffs

I still have PTSD from the previous failures in it

I don't think this argument sticks at that higher level of football.

They scored a long range free kick. Neither side produced a lot of chances and it was a pretty tight if slightly dog-eared game.

We huffed and puffed a bit but thought we lacked a cutting edge not a drop of endeavour.

We've had some great results recently. Today was not one. We move on.

It's more frustrating because it's a derby really

We put in a similar performance at West Brom, probably for a half at Preston too and even Maidstone adopted the same tactics really and got away with it

Leeds are clearly a tier above all these sides, probably played the same way too but had far more quality to rip us a new one on the break

Sargeant fluffed several good positions when it was 2 or 3 on 2 but we were pushing players up the pitch and were going to offer chances at times

I think if they'd had Rowe on the pitch, they'd have probably taken one of those

Whilst our form suggests we get no one, please remain humble to the fact that there are still teams out there with technically better/stronger individuals than we’ve been able to accumulate over one two windows on return to the Champ.

I don’t believe it meant more to them but we clearly played at about 75% intensity which is not quite enough for our amazing team to get results at this level.

Next game is the key focus now.
