I just watched the Town In The Premier League video again...
...and there's a point in there at about 17:55 where Super Samy puts the bucket hat on where I swear blind he turns into Micky Mills for a moment!
I think there's a photo somewhere of Mick Mills in a bucket hat (after the FA Cup or UEFA Cup wins?) and there's something so similar about our two fantastic captains. I don't know if it's posture, or facial expression or just some sort of magic.

I did see Billy Baxter play, but I don’t really remember him tbh, so he has to stay with the McLuckie’s, Nelson’s and Parker’s of our glorious past.

Mariner was captain on quite a few occasions. (When he died, I was quite struck by how many comments from old team-mates said how much of a leader he was in the team, in terms of getting them pumped up for action!)
