We hyped him up too much. Every player should be able to be subbed and he has been poor in many games. He has the ability to be the best in the world, but he has rarely shown it. More often he has given away the ball and pushed off the ball too easily. Saka has looked more of a superstar, but Saka has a very reserved personality. | | | |

Odd to say it but yes, that’s pretty much how I see it. Not saying he’s not a fantastic player etc, just that apart from a few instances he’s not really shown it this tournament. | |

Agree and when thinks havent worked out or got tough his head has dropped and he has acted like a spoiled brat… not a massive Arsenal fan but i think he could learn lots from Saka when it comes to attitude - he was arguably our best player against Switzerland just kept his head up and kept focused.. sadly i think all the fame has gone to Bellinghams head and he thinks turning up is sufficient- rarely being subbed even when his attitude isnt on point does nothing to educate him! Undoubtedly an incredible talent who just needs to stop all the play acting, get his head down and focus on being the best player he can be | | | |

Agreed, he hasn't been great overall and Southgate seems scared to substitute him, which is a shame as we have so many good players on the bench that are not getting much game time.
Obviously he is a very talented lad but he shouldn't be untouchable if he is not performing at his best. He needs to get the message from the manager that he is an important part of the squad, but no more so than any other player. |  | | |

I think that may offer a clue to his performances. He's still relatively young, a hard season at Madrid and now looks to be playing at 75% compared to his matches in La Liga. Maybe if he had been subbed earlier in previous matches his levels would be a lot higher. |  | | |

His level hasn't been there from the off. For some reason, the pundits made a lot of his performance against Serbia but it wasn't that great. | |
