You could argue that about half of our squad though couldn’t you, on paper at least. Same as last year. If we can get him for £6m, it would seem like a no brainer. [Post edited 12 Jul 2024 18:11]

...a traditional "left winger" anyway.
Whoever is given the role tends to drift inside to allow Leif free rein to get down the wing.
We tend to play with two "10s" really.

Closing in on his 29th birthday and this was his first epic EFL season, so £6M is a good offer from us IMO.
He didn't create a lot of chances last year, didn't dribble past a lot of people, didn't win a lot of tackles, didn't make a lot of crosses, or find his man when he did, but then who has time for that nonsense when you're banging in a sh!t-ton of goals instead. If he'd showcased himself as one of the more skillful players in the league as well as being the most clinical, then we'd be talking £10M+, or if he was a fair bit younger. | | | |

Think KM has shown that you don't need perfect players to make a team work.
We have specific roles required and specific talents, most if not all signings under KM have had their purpose whilst not being special players. |  |
