Harry Clarke's second yellow card 22:04 - Oct 26 with 1831 views | blueasfook | A tad harsh. Just a mistimed foot in and no malice in it. Ref could have exercised a bit of discretion and I don't think it would have been a huge injustice if he'd kept his card in his pocket.

Harry Clarke's second yellow card on 22:07 - Oct 26 with 1786 views | Trequartista | Someone cleanly gets the ball because it changes direction. Can't tell from the replays so I'm assuming it's Potter as we don't really protest much. It was a small foul but its on the edge of the area so always liable for a yellow.

I think Potter just made contact with his shin yeah. Like you say any other area of the pitch he's not getting sent off

Harry Clarke's second yellow card on 22:26 - Oct 26 with 1654 views | Kropotkin123 | Poor lad. Apparently he is the first premiership player to score and own goal, concede a penalty and get sent off on their debut... And the second player to do it ever.

Harry Clarke's second yellow card on 22:48 - Oct 26 with 1564 views | Ftnfwest | Presume he’s suspended immediately unlike trossard who having been sent off v city was back and scoring in the next game
Harry Clarke's second yellow card on 23:03 - Oct 26 with 1483 views | grow_our_own | Disappointing that no replays show whether Clarke touched the ball or man. Ball clearly changed direction as if it was ball. MotD gave us no love, not on the second yellow, the pen, nor the foul Phillips was adjudged to have committed that led to the pen. MotD did give some worrying season-so-far stats: Shots rank 20th Shots on target 19th xG 20th Touches in oppo box 20th Goals conceded 19th Errors leading to goals 19th Despite playing better today than vs West Ham and Everton, there's no sugar coating that we've been in relegation form so far. Only Delap and Greaves are def improvements over last season's players so far IMO.

Trossard was suspended immediately, he was just fortunate the next match to be suspended from was a Carabao Cup match. Clarke would have been available next week if we were still in the competition. [Post edited 27 Oct 2024 7:36]
