Just musing out loud, but normally, one team from outside the relegation haunted pack implodes their way into the reckoning.

Assuming "the haunted" to be Everton downwards, who do you think to be the likely candidates to join the party are?

Palace?

Are United too big to be brought in?

West Ham have lost Bowen for quite a while, that's a big part of their goal threat gone...

I would love to see a Manchester double relegation.

Manure - they have institutional issues that will take time to resolve, whoever's at the helm.

That crossed my mind too, but can the stars truly align that well ...

If a team were to come apart, I think it’ll be West Ham. I really can’t stand them so maybe that’s more hope than being rational. They’ve lost Antonio and Bowen is really important to them. Shame…

Exactly. It’s a nice idea but hard to see it being anything other than 3 from 5 realistically. Altho Bowen injured for west ham may help.

Nodge in 1995 spring to mind. 7th at Christmas, and then only won one in their last 20 games (which was the 3-0 Durkin game against us), lost seven on the bounce at the end, and down they came with us.

Wolves. little new manager bounce then drastic collapse.

Brighton - are currently slowly slipping down the league with few noticing.

With West Ham losing Bowen I'm assuming they will be interested in buying Latte Lath as they have shown interest in him previously.

Brentford could become vulnerable if their home form dries up. Tottenham could also find themselves sleepwalking into a relegation battle if their current ennui continues.

Both of those are far to good to be down with Wolves. Think they are the ones most likely.

If Spurs dismiss Postecoglou then I can see a dip in form becoming a car crash.

West Ham have also lost Antonio

I think most of that lot probably have a bit too much to end up in the scrap, Man United would be the most amusing of the group though

United are one of the worst sides we have played all season
