He is right. Delap has had a few times where he has gone for the shot instead of slipping players in, as all strikers on the planet do and some fans in their desperate attempts to be negative about everything this season decided he is a selfish footballer.
He is far from it, he links up play superbly, puts himself about for the team, helps out defensively.

Craig Bellendamy always used to remind me as a rat for some reason. He’s almost impressed me though the way he’s gone about the Wales job. He’s doing ok and comes across surprisingly well.

If you were to compare him to Enciso, Delap is the most charitable, unselfish player out there.
I've never seen a greedier player than Enciso. Don't get me wrong, he's very good and has a superb strike on him but he only has one thing in mind whenever he's within 60 yards of goal and it's frustrating.
If he can look up and pick a pass like he did at Bournemouth then Brighton have a real talent on their hands.
