So now we've played all the Big/Sky 6, who were the worst away fans at Portman Road this season? To me that means being obsessed with us rather than supporting their own team.
I think Man City and Arsenal were joint worst. Surely we should be irrelevant to them.
Liverpool, Man Utd and Spurs were decent.
Even Chelsea were okay considering we beat them.
Not part of the Sky 6 (yet) and even though it's a cliche, Newcastle were easily the best away supporters at Portman Road this season. Just supported their football team (loudly).

Funny, I was quite impressed with Citeh.
Agree that Toon were terrific - probably best, in fact.
Arse yesterday were pathetic, with the clear caveat that neither they nor we had anything to play for. They've always been quiet, however.
Toon aside, I thought Forest were very good. Stepping outside of your criteria, I've not impressed with any of the others, really - Brighton were perhaps even quieter than Arse.
Bournemouth couldn't even sell their allocation, unsurprisingly, so they make a good case for being worst of all. |  | | |

Yes, think Liverpool being 1st match has caused some memory loss. Liverpool really were rubbish, a bit shocking to old timers who remember when every scouser sang for 90 minutes.
I would say the more a club has been lost to the corporate monster that is the Premier League the more that clubs fans have lost their identity. So clubs like Forest and Everton were better than City etc.

I personally didn't like Forest.. they were baiting us, about going down with Leicester and their feelings towards Tuchel for not picking Gibbs-White were pathetic..
Also worthwhile remembering that they breached FFP to sign a shed load of players in their first season up in the premiership and only then scraped survival... that shows the pure gulf between the premiership and championship.. the fact they had to breach FFP just to stay up that first season.. | | | |

I have missed two matches this season, Aston Villa and yesterday.
From my viewpoint -
Best - Newcastle, then Everton
Poorest - Bournemouth, Liverpool
Most obnoxious - Man City
I only did one away game - Anfield- and really shocked at how quiet it was (apart from YNWA being played over the PA at the start). They really do suffer from football tourism in a big way. Certainly not the Liverpool of old! | | | |
