He hasn't invaded the pitch, as it is unauthorised entry on to the pitch which is the offence.

It’s not that simple though is it? Isn’t it the PL who has jurisdiction of stadiums etc on match days? And so he, as owner (or whatever), can still be classed as being unauthorised. I’m pretty sure owners have previously been banned from grounds before. | | | |
