If West Ham bought Kone for £12 million I'd file that under one of the worst bits of transfer business in English history. A 3rd of that would be a steep price. I genuinely believe he's at a similar level to Al-Hamadi. If anything he's less proven. £1-1.5 mil would be about right. Wycombe will be looking for more but I think they will probably take somewhere in the region of £3-4 mil. I wouldn't want us to touch him for that. Whenever I've watched him 6-7 times I've got to say he looks underwhelming. He's no slouch but I don't think he's that quick. Reasonably powerful in L1 but average on that level for the champ.
He's got something and he's got a chance to step up. I don't see him setting the champ alive though. |  |

I'm still mystified that he crosses over into Cornwall, he can get a decent cream tea in Devon. It would be like Mbappé going to Campbeltown for a fish supper when he owns the best chippie in Oban. |  |
