Massively underrated, now in the prime years of his career, knows the club and knows the league. We would be mad to let him go.

Now in his last year of his contract, could definitely do with him signing a new one.

Often talk of players “needing a pre-season”. Well, the first half of his was completely disrupted - but he performed admirably every time he got a chance last season. Top player at this level, we’d love to sign someone that good!

Unfortunately, it's going to be tough battle with Clarke, Philogene, Hutchinson, Szmodics and Chaplin all competing for similiar positions. Can play outwide, as a 10 and as a shadow striker. He offers so much to squad.

From what I gather, it is very much the clubs. He's the first cab off the rank to go when we inevitably sign another player in that 10 position. Not that I agree we should be letting him go.

Ironically, it’s often his pressing / physicality that sees him benched (he’s vastly improved this), but he dealt far better with the physicality of the Premier League than our smaller, tricky type forwards.

Like a lot of players we have in this position, i think a lot of them are 10-15% physically off being top players. With Broadhead, his influence seems to deteriotate around the 60 minute mark when he gets tired.

Fantastic player, especially as one of the changes on the 60/65 mark. Him and Hutchinson (definitely maybe who knows) leving leaves a big skill hole. Sure, we can fill it, but doubt it'll be some kind of huge improvement. Possibly the opposite, but ho hum.

Would be back home and a star for them, so you can’t blame him. Presumably not much of a pay cut either. Perfect storm, sadly.

Broady on 11:45 - Jul 10 with 4023 views | Herbivore | Looked very at home in the Prem technically, at times he looked class even against very good opponents. It's his physicality and being able to sustain that level of performance consistently that's the worry. I rate him highly and would love to keep him, but can also understand why he's one we might consider moving on as I'm not sure he's quite at the level we will ultimately need.

Yeah, I can accept a club wanting to be back in the Prem next year wouldn’t be offering him a new deal. But I do think physicality (strength) is more of a problem for our £20m men (Clarke and Philogene), so would be a shame if physicality (athleticism) stood in Broady’s way.

Broady on 19:24 - Jul 10 with 3275 views | LeoMuff | Broady on his day is my favourite player, can do with one feint or shoulder drop more than most in a career. Would be such a shame if he isn’t with us, but I can understand not wanting to play second fiddle. That feint against the budgies at home which he blazed wide sumptuous

I cant see us signing another #10 (unless Hutch leaves maybe). Our current need up front is another #9

Yeah, I hope people are wrong about him leaving. He’s able to offer something a bit different to all the runners who’ve more speed than sense that seem in vogue, and can deliver top class moments. Him leaving has been rumbling on for a while now, so I suspect there’s something in it. Who knows. Having known a couple of players, they often don’t know about moves or non-moves themselves until the last minute. So he may think he’s going and end up staying or he may think he’s staying and then be told on Monday we’ve accepted a bid.
