Think he lets a lot of the younger players do most of the running around him these days.
But he's a very intelligent player. The way he ghosts deep and pulls defenders around to create gaps.
You are right, he's not the future. But he's still part of the present, imo. Keeps chipping away at the goals tally. And has a huge presence in that England squad.
Big boots to fill for anyone coming through. And I can't say that any of the back ups are anywhere near Kane's level atm.
Delap touted as a possible "next best thing" for the future, last season.

I also feel that the amount of international football now played does de-value being your countries all time leading scorer. Memphis Depay has just become Netherlands all time leading scorer. Fair play to him, but I doubt he’d get on the bench for Netherlands greatest ever team.
