i saw suggestions last night that norwich had NO chance of getting a playoff spot, even though they are only 3 points worse off then we are for catching coventry, which people think is achievable.
funny old game isn’t it.
but on us getting to Boro, for me it all depends on getting a striker AND sorting this shoddy away form. I personally think it’s PO for us this season, that’s not to say i’ll be roaring them on weekly, and be over the moon if we get 1/2. | | | |

Nunez and Philogene to come back fit and a month for 2/3 new signings with some games under their belt.
Sounds like we will get a 9 through the door one way or another. I see Feb as a stay in touch month considering the amount of away games and two of them include Wrexham and Watford. |  |

Its difficult putting artificial points totals on when we dont know how boro will perform . If they win two we really need to keep up unless we store up a big consecutive win total late season. For all our sakes we would love to hunt them down and keep ahead but we know football isnt that easy especially watching ITFC! | |

Sheffield United away is one of the toughest games in the league at the moment, they've won 5 and drawn 2 in their last 7 at home. That's definitely a game Boro can lose. Norwich are also in a bit of form and while Boro have picked up lately I'm still not massively convinced by them. Suspect they'll beat Norwich and lose in Sheffield. We need to work out how to win consistently away from home and just keep right in touch over February ready to kick on for the end of the season. [Post edited 28 Jan 8:37]

Disagree - that Boro or maybe not the real deal. I’ve seen enough this season to suggest they have the quality to keep this up. It is Coventry for me who are more likely to falter

Yes, I think I’m just about happier with our next few fixtures than theirs, although I’d rather have the points in the bag from the game in hand. Norwich are one of the form teams and PNE aren’t in good form. But the rest are all middle-table form, so fairly even-ish.
It depends whether we turn up. We don’t tend to have a run of games where we collapse, so hopefully we’ll be back to winning ways. |  |
