I think the Budgies will give them a good game and maybe Sheffield Utd can do what they did to us. I'm going to stick my neck out and say two points for Boro and for us seven. But I think we need that No.9 through the door a.s.a.p. and send Akpom back if possible.

I wouldn't write them off yet, you don't get to 51 points half way for being rubbish, I just wonder if frank hasn't got the ability or resources to turn them, They seem rudderless,
| Really need to get close to Boro over next 2/3 games - BUT will we??? on 22:23 - Jan 27 with 1090 views | ashtonscoffeecup | i saw suggestions last night that norwich had NO chance of getting a playoff spot, even though they are only 3 points worse off then we are for catching coventry, which people think is achievable. funny old game isn’t it. but on us getting to Boro, for me it all depends on getting a striker AND sorting this shoddy away form. I personally think it’s PO for us this season, that’s not to say i’ll be roaring them on weekly, and be over the moon if we get 1/2. | | | |

| Really need to get close to Boro over next 2/3 games - BUT will we??? on 22:30 - Jan 27 with 1048 views | megnuts | Will be a clearer picture at the end of Feb of how it’s going to play out opposed to the next couple of games. Boro and Coventry play each other. Both have to play Sheff U away who will fancy getting in the top 6 mix now. We’re away from home for most of it. Lots of twists and turns to come. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

If it's same games played and more 6 points back then who knows. Nunez and Philogene to come back fit and a month for 2/3 new signings with some games under their belt. Sounds like we will get a 9 through the door one way or another. I see Feb as a stay in touch month considering the amount of away games and two of them include Wrexham and Watford.

That's how I see it. If we get 10 points or more during Feb, including the Swansea home game, that would be a very decent return.

I think 6 in the next two is pretty crucial.

If they win two we really need to keep up unless we store up a big consecutive win total late season. For all our sakes we would love to hunt them down and keep ahead but we know football isnt that easy especially watching ITFC!

| Really need to get close to Boro over next 2/3 games - BUT will we??? on 08:07 - Jan 28 with 474 views | Herbivore | Sheffield United away is one of the toughest games in the league at the moment, they've won 5 and drawn 2 in their last 7 at home. That's definitely a game Boro can lose. Norwich are also in a bit of form and while Boro have picked up lately I'm still not massively convinced by them. Suspect they'll beat Norwich and lose in Sheffield. We need to work out how to win consistently away from home and just keep right in touch over February ready to kick on for the end of the season. Agree - Sheffield United away is going to be really tough for Boro, strong players, good manager, and a crowd that can really back them (remember that) Disagree - that Boro or maybe not the real deal. I’ve seen enough this season to suggest they have the quality to keep this up. It is Coventry for me who are more likely to falter Town have yet to really fire up consistently. And it needs to happen soon. Hopefully our new midfielder can be the catalyst. | |

Yes, I think I’m just about happier with our next few fixtures than theirs, although I’d rather have the points in the bag from the game in hand. Norwich are one of the form teams and PNE aren’t in good form. But the rest are all middle-table form, so fairly even-ish. It depends whether we turn up. We don’t tend to have a run of games where we collapse, so hopefully we’ll be back to winning ways.

Think we've clicked at home and look capable of winning every game there, even when in third gear. Away really hasn't clicked. Started badly on the road, then seemed to turn a corner, then went backwards, then beasted Coventry in one of our most complete performances under McKenna, then back to serving up shite at the weekend. Really need to find ways to win consistently on the road.

The blades bullied us, whereas we bullied Coventry at their place Need to grab games and subdue home fans Swansea away was a good performance, but think they were poor
