Ashton or any employee/fan can vote for who they want, obviously.
Using the club for a platform for any political party endorsement clearly wouldn't be ok, so the club will probably need to do their best to clarify that wasn't what was going on. |  |

I think measuring peoples intelligence by their political alignment is ....provocative at best
As i've said people have the right to be upset by it, I personally don't think football and politics should mix but some of the comments and remarks and ideas (if you can call them that) that have been suggested on here are way over the top and the general 'left wing' narrative is just to throw around labels and name calling .... which is what is happening on here, it isn't helping really is it ?

- And ran for MP in Clacton to help the constituents but hasn't set foot in the town since...
