Why is the counter protest pro Palestine and not just anti the far right?

No idea, I just read there were two protests and assumed the far right one was the first one but would actually make much more sense if the Palestine one was the first one and the far right one is the counter protest.

This is correct.
This day has been commemorated around this date for a number of years.
The Unite the Kingdom march was organised for the same day for some reason.
If anything the SYL march has been organised in direct competition with the Nakba march, rather than there being a far right and anti far right march.

There have been nasty demonstrations in Ireland against immigrants but the following is a large factor too.

"There are flyers lying on the road where people are marching for the Unite the Kingdom rally that say they want to secure “a future for white people”.

The flyer says: “In a country saturated with degenerates, grifters and imported political enemies … We are a brotherhood of White Europeans who share the same values.”

It's ironic how it was the Poles who seemed to get it in the neck when it came to Brexit but these days it's those who aren't of the right colour or religion.

Let’s not beat about the bush, these are racist marches, promoted by racists and attended by racists and people who support racism. Quite a few have been flown in from overseas, ironically given those flyers.
