Now I know what you're thinking. "He's getting on, he's at Bayern, he's chasing trophies." Exactly. That's why it makes perfect sense.

Every time Ipswich get promoted the footballing universe bends in strange and unnatural ways. Last time Football Manager got cancelled. This time Kane wins the Bundesliga, completes football, looks around and realises the one thing missing from his CV is a wet Tuesday night at Portman Road while some bloke in Row G shouts "GET STUCK IN 'ARRY" for ninety minutes.

And before you laugh, just remember nobody thought we'd be linked with Paul Taylor either. First it starts with a bloke on TWTD saying his cousin saw Harry Kane buying a sausage roll at the Copdock Interchange. Then someone spots a private jet over the Suffolk Show. Then somebody notices Kane once liked an Ipswich fan's Instagram post in 2018. Before you know it there's a 47-page thread analysing the angle of his driveway and whether it's secretly pointing towards East Anglia.

I've been watching football for 40 years. That's called evidence.
