| Btw. Abdoul Ouattara on 22:22 - Sep 4 with 2204 views | NthQldITFC | Agree Frimmers, I know he's come on latish against tired opponents, but he's looked very strong and confident, finding space and demanding the ball. I'm hoping he's as good a full back as suggested. | |

Where to play him? Confident Gary will work it out
| Btw. Abdoul Ouattara on 22:35 - Sep 4 with 2112 views | MVBlue | Yes he is. He's got this unique way of stroking the ball as he controls it. We do need to get it together there's such talent like we've never seen in decades out there and they,ll all be lost if we don't sort the defence out. No panic yet, just need to get solid. | |

Agree O’Shea needs to be in the centre but do O’Shea and diop work together?

In terms of right now, Diop should be back up to O'Shea, and Kipre back up to Greaves. Diop may well come good, as it's very, very early days, but our best pairing is Greaves and O'Shea.

Nah man! Diop is by quite a long way out best centre back. Not a chance he should be left out of our defence. His turn of pace to recover a situation and ability to read the game is quite impressive.

Hes not showing that ability to read the game. Hes often leaving players onside Running into greaves Chasing balls he shouldnt be

I do think he has that potential, but he's way off that at the moment. Would definitely be better as part of a three, but we don't look like we're going to go that way. I'm sure he'll come good, but I'd change it now.

I will say he looks like if he could be the complete package ,a great signing

I do agree with this. Diop may be a better player, but you'd be foolish to discount the O'Shea/Greaves partnership and understanding that is much better established. At least in early games, I'd feel more comfortable with that. But, hey, I'm not a football manager and I don't see the training sessions, so what do I know?

Noticed this myself. There was one moment when it looked like a tricky ball to control and he made it look like child’s play. Reckon we’ll see him as a regular before too long

Diarra, Sadiki et al This is clearly where to spend the money. Top European leagues where they’ve come through the academies and played a full season in France or Belgium etc. Young players with an African heritage have often had a fantastic record stepping into our top flight and then becoming worth x4 what was paid.

If you ignore that we need to fix the defence, I think the answer is that he replaces Lukic However, we probably do have to fix the defence so could easily be RB for the moment But after our winter transfer business, I would not be shocked to see a midfield of Palacios and Ouattara as first choice

| Btw. Abdoul Ouattara on 06:07 - Sep 5 with 1024 views | fallyblue | Every other signing we made was for a particular position I am not really sure where he fits in, it’s certainly not midfield where we keep playing him as that is well stocked with better players | | | |

It really isn't. Greaves is showing once again he is not good enough for the level.
