Agree they have looked very pedestrian in their first 3 games however can’t see Emery allowing to continue for long and with the players they have are bound to improve.

As a promoted club, not conceding in first three games - excellent. Compare to GON … eight conceded. And Hull Played United and Villa. A European champion.

I’d suggest much for GON to ponder and work on. Congrats to Hulls manager. Better start clearly.

Tottenham will be this year's Tottenham. I reckon Villa will be ok...they're sure to be firing by the time we play them anyway 🙄

Yes once everyone are beded in they will find some rythm, but it does look really quite bad - so I am not entirely sure they will be safe from the bottom 6-7 positions. I think Newcastle, that I thought would struggle, look a fair bit better. Tottenham also look bad now, but I think they will improve quite a bit and will be safe this year. We will see though.

I think Tottenham will be fine once their new players have bedded in and they have accepted that they are still a long way short of a top six side.

Villa will suffer from the loss of Rogers, Tielemans and Watkins. Their only redeeming factor is that they have managed to replace Martinez with a good keeper.

I think that this season they may find Europe an unwelcome distraction and find the Premier League a much tougher task. Yes, Emery is a very good manager but he can only work with what he has.

Started this season as they did last. Wish we played them before they become settled.

We usually play teams at the wrong time. Ipswich tradition. Apart from last season when we played Cov twice during their dip in form. Now that was good timing !

And first point came in game 4 in a O-0 draw, and no goals scored either at that point

Emery going batsh!t when his subs hadn't got ready to get on the pitch by the time the numbers were up on the electronic board was a sight to behold on 'Match of the Day' last night. I thought Abraham would be a season changing loan if we got him in, how wrong I was.

I think us playing Coventry was the instigator of their loss of form; up until then they were looking far superior to every other club in the league, but we didn't just win a game of football, we completely outclassed them in a straight head to head, which knocked them somewhat beyond the mere loss of the 3 points.

Poll: If we go up, which new striker would you like us to sign?
