My only worry with that is that Rangers fans said Garner was crap when played on his own up top. I know he'll have support but will they play close enough to him? I take it you're looking at Didz and Celina plus one other off the front man? I'm still thinking 4-4-2 looks likely, it's how we've lined up preseason and is Mick's preferred formation. | |

A lot depends on how the midfield clicks, last year was terrible but we never really got going or put any run together.
Having Skuglas in midfield was a shocker as neither had the legs to get up and down the pitch so we couldn't play well - if we can be lucky with injuries and keep our more creative and better ball players fit then think we'll be ok - although doesn't feel many goals in the team/squad still | |

McG did it a few times, Newcastle at home most notably where him and Sears changed about for both that and the Burton game as the one up top. But I do agree on the whole.
This is a decent and needed addition if it comes off, but doesn't negate the need for a striker | |
