My new poem 15:46 - Dec 16 with 1261 viewsBluefish

PR Paul PR Paul
Loves to buy beers for us all
When the winning shape cant be found
He brings a legend to the training ground
No normal he says to the fans
But they really just want to know his plans
Every week the tactics change and unravel
But when it gets really bad he just pays for their travel
Thanks PR Paul for all the generous stunts
Sort the team out please, don't take us for......idiots

There once was a poster called Bluefish
Frequent criticism of Lambert he could dish
We were all sick of it
Cos Bluefish just talked sh*t
So him getting banned is now my wish

I genuinely can't work out if this is the greatest thing you've ever done or the worst thing you've ever done.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I'm sure he can take it.

After all he's relentlessly campaigning for a bloke to lose his job, which is far more damaging than being banned from an internet forum.

You're right, i shouldn't say that as someone who doesn't have a problem with him doing nice things and don't agree with many Bluefish posts. Credit where credit's due though.

To be fair he's not wanting to drive out someone who is in need of the money in order to pay for the kids' Xmas presents and put food on the table.

Don't get me wrong, I actually disagree with roughly 78% of everything Fishers post, but he seems a nice enough guy behind the scenes.

I can't even begin to guess if he believes half of it himself to be honest.

LOL, might be worth reading that one back to yourself and considering if you’re overreacting a tad 🙂

I think maybe a bit more incorporating his reaction to critics, or even a well-known popular local journalist daring to ask anything, might offer more spark.

A basic A-A-B-B rhyme scheme, erratic (if we're being polite) metre, confused cadence, lack of imagery and nuance make this a pretty disappointing effort.

It's a D+ weighted with a B for effort.

dare to ask if Bishop will

be fit to ever play again still

receives a reaction unfit for one's ears

maybe more luck asking about that other player we got from Colchester a few years ago who has also been out for a while.

Don't worry, I'd say you're on a par with Maureen Lipman and Dolly.

We do need to normalise it against the “poet’s” usual standard of posting though, which should bump the grade up significantly

It's no 'Dim Magilton', 'Beano' or 'Dino Mick' in the use of the language stakes, I'll grant you.
