A player who can feel quite harshly done by this season probably, but never really of the required standard.
Certainly gave his all for the cause, but there’s probably no more damning indictment of the mess left by the Hurst era than seeing him toiling away as a lone striker in Lambert’s first month or so in charge.

I totally agree Jake. He must have looked on at some the performances Norwood has put in of late and wondered what he's done wrong. It's telling that a fellow Div 3 club want him and I daresay he'll score goals there every so often.
But that said, if we are serious about going up scrubbing clean the Hurst era is imperative. | |
