I would think if they had either taken up the option or were not taking up the option on Edwards they would have said so probably/possibly offering a new contract as they did with Skuse.
Maybe they will just pay Edwards for the two games a season that he plays well in.

When we played through him at Coventry we looked very good. He also made use of his height to score a header (and hit the post with another). I really thought that would be the start of something for him and us.
Unfortunately I don't think we played nearly enough to his feet after that and, as you say, he wasn't the type of aggressive player to just slog away through the middle for 90 minutes.
It was a shame it didn't work out. But doesn't look as if we really suited each other on the evidence. |  |
