Yeah, just noting in another thread that he got a first team league start as much as 2 years ago.
It's been bad enough for him since then but this new setback seems far too cruel for any young player. |  |

What is it about this club?
Why do we get so many serious injuries like this? It isn't just the same as other clubs is it (even allowing for the bigger squad size)?
Do we have the right injury prevention strategies in place? Surely there is something not right, it can't simply be bad luck can it? |  |

Would certainly be interesting to see some thorough stats on it spread over a few years. There are sometimes some clubs that have an injury crisis but we seem to have significant numbers all the time. | |

Possibly isn’t that much different. We wouldn’t hear about another club’s player that had only played a few first-team games.
I think leg injuries (particularly knees) are ridiculously common in football. Certainly compared to most other sports. | |
