Not used it but on a thread the other day the keen cyclists were saying steer clear and use a turbo-trainer and some app.

I have a Peloton Plus in order, delivered in December. I did quite a lot of research and found that most people were really pleased with them. Doesn’t seem to be one for serious cyclists though. |  |

Ideal in the evening just to use it for a quick 45 mins - could do it 5 or 6 times a week?

True, and all people are different - but I think most would surely find it difficult to motivate themselves to just do that every night - you could get a rack and basically kit out a decent home gym for the same price, buy a bike, or one of those adaptors to stick yours on, and be much better off - space permitting.
Seem a bit gimmicky, and whilst I'm sure it's a good service it is mega money | |

So, thinking of either a turbo trainer (you put yer bike on it) or a normal exercise bike. Any recommendations / thoughts etc?

nah, thats just the free add on for car drivers, which they can download on their mobile phones whilst driving... |  | | |
