Unfortunately, I think you are right. A win against the odds despite the terrible disruption to our preparations and the rustiness of not having played at the weekend. Lambert will have earned himself another run of 4-5 winless games before Evans acts.

Probably right. Either Norwood or Jackson next to Parrot. Chambers at centre half (puts tin helmet on...)?

Can anyone see beyond a draw tonight? on 14:46 - Feb 16 with 1791 views | clive_baker | Yes, simply because Northampton are particularly poor IMO. It's one of those where we'll just have a bit too much for them. As ever we'll lack any thought, organisation, discipline, game plan or intelligence, but ability will come to the fore and we'll win by a couple.

Hello, Stuart. Good luck with tonight. Please consider persuading Paul to resign due to ill health before the morning, though.

I would also like to see some of our 'supporters' being more supportive. I don't imagine it does much for player confidence, whenever they check into TWTD, to find nothing but criticism, doom and gloom.

I admire your optimism. I have just got to the point where I cannot see it getting turned around. How do you believe we will get promoted? Who is going to start scoring the goals? What is going to change about the way we play that will enable us to win the play-offs?

I think that the new signings are a breath of fresh air; and that we'll beat one of the 'top' teams on or before 9th March. Once that monkey is off their backs the players will find the confidence and have a good finish to the season. Positive vibes from the supporters would help. For any who like a bet, if you can get 5/2 or better on our promotion then you should risk your 50p.

How do you see things panning out back in the Championship? Will the summer see a large clear out of players? With the monkey off our backs, do you think we will win a lot of games in the Championship too? Will that be playing 2 up front?

The dilemma is that, if we were to be promoted, then we would probably still have Lambert as manager. While I don't see him as bad as most of my fellow supporters think, I would not be confident in his ability to take us further. We have a few decent young players who could possibly develop to Championship standard. But we also have a LOT of players, decent League 1 journeymen, who would simply not be good enough to make the step up. We have players who have graced the Championship previously but are now too old to recapture past glories. So... Lambert would need to recruit. And he would need to determine tactics and style to take us forward. I don't have confidence in his ability to recruit players of sufficient calibre (I know; KVY) nor to organise and motivate players sufficiently to play above themselves in the way that MM did so well. In my view we would likely struggle. If we could survive the first season then we could possibly press on but, under Lambert's guidance it would be touch and go.

Can anyone see beyond a draw tonight? on 17:24 - Feb 16 with 1500 views | chrismakin | Could be an interesting game Weve shown we dont understand how teams play when they do the same thing weekly. Let alone setting up against a team which until sat had only spent 2 hours working on a new 'style' We open ourselves up to much and I bet suddenly Northampton will find a goal
