The two sides of Lambert 23:33 - Feb 17 with 968 views | wkj | I actually found myself agreeing with a number of points he made in his discussions about the way things are behind the scenes and almost forget he's really bad at managing ITFC (if not any football club) That said, isn't the sitting around and talking about things also important to do with the media and people who represent the fans? I am in two minds about the protest at the training ground. I am happy to see things happening and applaud those who are actively making noise, but I am also upset to see them not lobbing tennis balls onto the pitch, like a proper protest.

I'm not a fan of him as a manager, but even the outers must realise he is making sense on some level with the infrastructure comments, maybe its time he changes his role in football as management of the team is not his forte any more.
The two sides of Lambert on 08:04 - Feb 18 with 749 views | hype313 | Why is only now saying these things? He's been here for 2 and a half years, he knew the infrastructure when he came in. I'm afraid it was his last throw of the dice to deflect from his record. It's probably true what he's saying, but equally if Evans said ok we're introducing a DOF, you know he would ay he couldn't work under those circumstances and use that as an excuse.

But it might force him into resigning himself rather than hanging on for a pay-off.

He isn't resigning, he knows this is his last shot at management, this is essentially his pension fund before he takes up the sofa's at BBC Scotland.

Dave Bowman was pretty close to Evans with regards to recruitment, Lambert sidelined him as a Northern Scout or similar. Lambert has been power playing against Lee O'Neill to make himself more important He wants all the power, but none of the responsibility

Yeah I tend to agree, along with others saying he's deflecting. Got to be clinging on by his fingernails now, surely?

You're being very generous there, but I wouldn't want him taking anymore money out of the club. And it would be embarrassing to sack him from first team duties and then move him upstairs (for us and for him). If Evans wants to restructure the club there's plenty of people he knows in the game who can give him some pointers.

He's been here two and a half years and the only infrastructure changes he's made are a new fence and a lick of blue paint at the training ground. Do you really think he's the man to improve the structure of the club? Or is it more likely that it's the same old bullsh1t from him to try and protect brand Lambert?

No I don't really think he's the man for anything at the club any more, but I do think that whilst we have to pay him he's better off away from the coaching side, hence the suggestion to move him upstairs as such.

He's universally disliked around the club. He should be nowhere near anyone/anything associated to this club.
